Volunteers

As per the post below the city is requiring that events in it's parks with greater than 50 people present must be fully vaccinated. EVERYONE 12 years of age and older will need to present and have verified their vaccine passport (vaccine passport and for adults matching government issued photo ID) before entering the park, this includes to park or drop off. 

In order to accomplish this we'll require a team of volunteers in short shifts to do the checking. Unfortunately if we do not have enough volunteers we'll have to cancel the event. If we do not meet the city's requirements we will lose our ability to hold cyclocross races in the future.

If you're able to help please look at the spreadsheet here then email me at gsewell at mymts dot net with your first and second choice of open time slot for when you can volunteer or if you are open to any. Some time slots have more than one opening so we can help more than one vehicle or person at a time. At the end of the day we'll still need someone at the entrance even though there may be next to no one coming in. I'll fill in the slots as we go. Your help is vital to running the race and really appreciated.

For vaccine verification you'll need to download the app (Manitoba immunization verifier) to your smart phone and you'll need to use cellular data to run the app on Sunday. We can cover your cellular data costs if that's an issue.
