USGP Portland Sunday

Final race (#8) of the USGP Series. Saturday was gorgeous, sunny, calm, and about 8C. Sunday was about 0C and really windy.

Canadian Champ Alison Sydor leads Butler, Dunlap, and Nash first time through the barriers. Alison had the early lead on both days, but would then fade.

Amy Dombroski didn't have the legs on day two.

Maureen Bruno Roy

Number One! and she was clearly the class of the women's field on both days. Too bad Georgia Gould didn't show.

Nash is tiny, but there should never be any doubt that she means business!

Multiple times US champion Alison Dunlap

Sue Butler

I'll post men's photos tomorrow. I also have video if I can figure out the Canon software. The mens starts were so unbelievably fast (even the 35+) that it felt like the world's biggest semi trailer going by. Still photos almost don't do it justice.
